The Citizens of Rooks' Haven get their news from three sources.
The first, and least reliable, of these is the Imperial Broadcasting Service. The I.B.S. provides the
citizens of Rooks' Have with the Empire's official spin on news that affects the whole of the empire.
The I.B.S. is Rooks' Haven's primary link to the rest of the empire. If they weren't in the city, most
people wouldn't have the foggiest idea what was going on in the world... of course, most of them
don't really care anyway.
The second source of news is a column called Ace in the Hole. AITH, as it is known in the city, is a
collection of important information posted on the ERP for pirates, thieves, and other people who
can't get their news from official channels... or at least not the news they care about.
The final source of news is the Rumormill. This publication is little more than a tabloid. The stories
printed in the Rumormill are seldom, if ever, verified. The more outrageous the story, the more
likely the Rumormill is to report it.
